Gado Gado is arguably Indonesia's most popular salad dish. Steamed or boiled string beans, shredded cabbage, bean sprouts, and potatoes are tossed with crumbs of fried tofu, fried tempeh, and sliced up soft-boiled eggs. The secret ingredient is the sweet and warm peanut dressing, which is a little thinner than your typical peanut sauce. Serve with shrimp crackers, garlic crackers or cassava chips.
