Gulai is commonly found in any islands of the Indonesian archipelago, and it has a great variety of options. Most often it is made with lamb (Gulai Kambing) or fish (Gulai Ikan), but chicken, beef and vegetables are all alternatives. Cinnamon is used as a spice ingredient, along with candle nuts, kaffir lime leaves, turmeric, and galangal.

If you want the gulai curry in a hurry, get the gulai seasoning in Bamboe or Indofood brands.
